Varun Dhawan expresses gratitude for Baby John's teaser reaction
Baby John's teaser impressed fans as it premiered in the theatres during the grand release of Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on November 1. The Diwali opening has been special for the actor as fans showered the teaser with love and rave reviews. Varun’s action-packed avatar and rugged personality in the teaser with intense drama gained eyeballs. Today (November 2), the Badlapur actor dropped an appreciation post for fans. Taking to Instagram, Varun Dhawan dropped an intriguing Baby John clip and expressed gratitude to fans for their exciting response.
“Baby, the LEGEND begins now💥 #BabyJohnTasterCut, only in cinemas now. thank u for the response,” Varun Dhawan shared in the caption alongside the special video.
Baby John is a remake of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil film Theri and seems to be a compelling Hindi version that portrays Varun in an intense avatar with lots of action and drama.
The nearly 2-minute clip has excited fans. Soon, Varun’s post was filled with comments from netizens who hailed him for Baby John. One fan wrote, “This Is Craze For Baby John...can't wait.” Another wrote, “Theatre ma aag laga diyaa thaa..toh socho jab movie ayegi tab kiyaa hoga ...VD is on The Fire.”
About Baby John
Directed by Kalees, Baby John is slated for a Christmas release on December 25, 2024. The film is produced by Atlee, Murad Khetani, and Jyoti Deshpande under the banner of Jio Studios, Cine1 Studios, and A for Apple Productions.
Previously, the makers had unveiled the first look of Jackie Shroff’s villainous avatar. The veteran star will be seen playing the main antagonist named Babbar Sher. Sharing Jackie’s look, the social media post read, “Get ready to meet the darkness you never saw coming… The evil of #BabyJohn! #BabbarSher is coming for you!"
The movie also marks Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi’s debut in the Hindi cinema. Salman Khan will also be seen in a special cameo appearance as a senior cop and a mentor to Varun.
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan will be next seen alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the titular role of the Indian version of Citadel titled ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny.’ The web series will be releasing on Amazon Prime Video on November 7.
