Vidyut Jammwal has always found ways to awe viewers with his gravity-defying stunts, athleticism and has made a name for himself in Indian cinema. The actor, who will be seen next in Khuda Haafiz: Chapter II – Agni Pariksha, revealed what makes him different from the likes of Hrithik Roshan and TIger Shroff.
In an interview with Film Companion, the action star was asked how he stands apart from action stars such as Roshan, Shroff and Aditya Roy Kapoor. “All the gentlemen you’ve referred to are great action stars but I’m the top martial artist in the world. Officially. I work all the time — whether I’m sleeping, or awake — I’m in awareness and that’s how I hone my skills,” Vidyut replied.
He added that he is often compared to legendary action stars such as Jackie Chan or Tony Jaa and that it's amazing to be compared to the best. He added that for this to be the case, he has to be aware all the time.
The actor also said he keeps putting himself in the situations of his character and asks himself how he would deal with it. Vidyut added that because he is a skilled individual, he would try something different and this is how he works out what to do when he is choreographing action scenes.
Jammwal is currently promoting his upcoming movie, Khuda Haafiz: Chapter II – Agni Pariksha. A sequel to the 2020 action flick, Khuda Haafiz, the movie is directed by Faruk Kabir. Also starring Shivaleeka Oberoi, Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Sheeba Chaddha, the sequel is set to hit theatres on July 8.
