Sidharth Shukla passed away on September 2, 2021, due to cardiac arrest. The actor was admitted to Mumbai's Cooper hospital. Many fans and peers of the actor are taken aback by the news. They are unable to come to terms with his untimely death. Sidharth had thanked these fans just a few days ago for 'protecting' him on social media.

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan on August 22, Sidharth took to Twitter and shared an appreciation post for his fans. The Bigg Boss 13 winner wrote, "Happy Rakshabandhan to all... Thank you all for protecting me on social media and being there for me always."

The tweet happens to be Sidharth's second-last tweet before the untimely demise. The actor's last profile picture was of him winning Bigg Boss 13, while the cover photo was of him receiving all the love from 'SidHearts'.

Sidharth Shukla fans have always been at the forefront, supporting him in his battles. They have constantly defended the actor when his name is dragged into any controversies.

More recently, Bigg Boss was called partial towards Sidharth as it let him win the trophy despite his violent behaviour in the house while evicting Bigg Boss OTT contestant Zeeshan Khan. To that, 'SidHearts' questioned why was he being dragged into an internal fight between Zeeshan, Pratik Sehajpal and Nishant Bhat.

Sidharth was last seen on Dance Deewane 3 with Madhuri Dixit-Nene. Before that, the actor appeared on Bigg Boss OTT with his Bigg Boss 13 co-contestant and friend Shehnaaz Gill.
