Dummy is a American comedy drama series which follows the life of Cody Heller (Anna Kendrick) and her partner Dan Harmon (Donal Logue). When Heller discovers that her boyfriend has a sex doll in his closet, she develops a relationship with her and the two of them set out on a curious journey together. Kendrick received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Actress In A Short Form Comedy Or Drama Series for her performance in this show. The comedy-drama is created and written by Cody Heller and directed by Tricia Brock. It is a romantic comedy television series comprising 10 episodes and also stars Meredith Hagner. The script was initially slated to be a full-length feature film but was later split into episodes of 10 minutes each and thus, happened to be a series.
