Heeramandi

Set in pre-independence India, the series show generations of courtesans of Herra Mandi, a district famous for its colourful and dazzling ambience. The plot focuses on these women trying to survive in the dense conditions of undivided India. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, an award-winning director known for his movies like Black (2005), Devdas (2002) and Padmaavat (2018). The series cast Aditi Rao Hydari, Sonakshi Sinha and Manisha Koirala in lead roles. The series will be available on Netflix.
