Gaslit Season 1

 The political thriller series is based on the first season of Slow Burn, a narrative podcast by Leon Neyfakh. The show follows the Watergate scandal which led to the resignation of Richard Nixon, the 37th president of the United States. The series focuses on several untold stories from Nixon's subordinates, deranged zealots and the whistleblowers who eventually brought the whole enterprise down. The series stars Julia Roberts as Martha Mitchell, a celebrity Arkansan socialite and wife to Nixon's loyal Attorney General John N. Mitchell is played by Sean Penn. The supporting cast includes Dan Stevens, Betty Gilpin, Shea Whigham, Aleksandar Filimonović and others.
