Samuel Jackson plays the protagonist whose memory is increasingly fading. Ramin Bahrani, who recently helmed the White Tiger, has directed the series. This is an adaptation of Walter Mosley's acclaimed novel. He serves as executive producer on the series. Jackson had been associated with the project for several years.
