Karuthamuthu is a 2014 Malayalam language romantic thriller series that premiered on the Asianet channel and now available on Hotstar. The show is directed by Praveen Kadakkavoor and written by Pradeep Paniker with cast members including Kishor Satya, Akshara Kishor, Premi Viswanath, Renu Soundar, Archana Suseelan, and Richard N J. The story is about Karthika who is a dark-skin color girl, since childhood she has been treated badly by her fair skin sister. As she grew up she got married to Balachandran and to gain her position she had to fight all family pressure to have a happy married life.
