Feria: The Darkest Light

This Spanish Language thriller series set in the 90s follows two sisters Eva (Ana Tomeno) and Sofía (Carla Campra), who embark on a quest to discover the truth behind the disappearance of their parents from the town of Faria. They learn that their parents were involved in killing as many as 23 townsfolk before they left the town without intimation. On their journey, Eva and Sofia’s perceptions of reality are altered. The show is created by Carlos Montero, best known for Elíte and Agustín Martínez, and is backed by Award-winning Spanish directors Carles Torrens and Jorge Dorado. Other than Tomeno and Campra, the series also has Marta Nieto, the star of Oscar-nominated short Madre, Spanish Oscar-winning actor Patricia López and Below Zero star Isak Férriz. The show will have eight 50-minute episodes. Patricia Lopez last appeared in the 2021 fantasy thriller Out of Sync, which was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival last year after having its world premiere at the 18th edition of Venice Days. Carles Torrens is best known for his feature debut in the 2011 movie Apartment 143. Meanwhile, Jorde Dorado has helmed the docu short Nuevos Tiempos, and the psychological thriller Mindscape, starring Mark Strong and Taissa Farmiga.
