Mo

Created by Mohammed Amer and Ramy Youssef, Mo is an American comedy-drama series starring Amer himself in the lead role as Mo Najjar. The plot revolves around Mo Najjar, a young man from Texas who straddles the line between two cultures, three languages and a pending asylum request while hustling to support his Palestinian family. Mo has to learn to adapt to his new world and overcome various obstacles that come with being a Palestinian refugee in America seeking U.S. citizenship. Apart from Mohammed Amer, the series also features performances from Teresa Ruiz, Omar Elba, Farah Bsieso, Cherien Dabis, Tobe Nwigwe, Walt Roberts, Kamal Zayed, and Lee Eddy.
