This six-part Netflix series talks about a future where AI development has reached new heights. This has brought concepts like frequent space travel and habitation on the Moon into normal living. The series is helmed by Mitsuo Iso, who will be helming his first project after the Dennou Coil series.
The series revolves around five children, out of which two were born on the Moon and the rest three from Earth. Set in 2045, the sci-fi series focuses on advancements in artificial intelligence, social media, and communication networks. These children group up to make their lives sustainable for humans as the place becomes more and more uninhabitable by the year. With a drone piloted through an AR device, a strong social network and some titbits of AI, they devise a method to combat the situations and try and find a way out.
The series features Natsumi Fujiwara (also known for Great Pretender) as Touya Sagami, Kensho Ono (Kuroko's Basketball) plays Taiyo Tsukuba, Azumi Waki (Tokyo Revengers) plays Konoha B Nanase, Chinatsu Akasaki (Re: Zero) portrays the role of Mina Misasa, Yumiko Kobayashi (Soul Eater) plays Hiroshi Tanegashima, and Mariya Ise (Kakegurui) portrays Houston Nasa.
