The Sandman

The fantasy horror series is set in 1916 and revolves around Morpheus, the king of dreams and one of the members of the Endless family. He is captured in an occult ritual, after being held captive for 105 years. He finally escapes and sets out to restore order in his kingdom of the Dreaming. It stars Tom Sturridge as Dream, with Gwendoline Christie, Vivienne Acheampong, Boyd Holbrook, Charles Dance, Asim Chaudhry, and Sanjeev Bhaskar in supporting roles. Developed by Neil Gaiman, David S. Goyer, and Allan Heinberg, it is based on the DC Comics comic book of the same name (1989-1996) by Neil Gaiman.
