Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha (Sun NXT)

This Malayalam film explores folklore and history during an investigation of decades-old crime. It offers a captivating tale of suspense, intrigue, and complex human connection.

Animal (Netflix)

This Ranbir Kapoor-starrer explores strong bloody violence, profanity, and intense nudity. It's even classified 18+ by the British Board of Film Classification for the same reason.

Kabir Singh (Netflix)

Due to the portrayal of a deeply flawed main lead with violent tendencies, abusive behavior towards women, and heavy use of alcohol and drugs, the Shahid Kapoor film is A-rated.

Salaar: Part 1 (Netflix)

The CBFC had to cut many scenes due to extreme violence and abusive words in the Prabhas-starrer and was later given an A-certificate as the cuts could affect the film's story.

OMG 2 (JioCinema)

The Akshay Kumar-starrer has been A-rated because it deals with sensitive topics related to sex education which CBFC considered inappropriate for wider audiences.

Delhi Belly (YouTube)

The Imran Khan-starrer is A-rated for strong language, a significant amount of profanity, extreme levels of sexual content, and violence, making it unsuitable for kids.

Love Sex Aur Dhokha (Prime Video)

The film has a found-footage style with hidden cameras, which contributes to its realistic portrayal of violence, crime, adultery, and nudity.

Udta Punjab (Netflix)

CBFC came out with a list of 94 cuts and 13 pointers before the film's release. One of the pointers even included deleting the names of cities in Punjab.

The Dirty Picture (JioCinema)

The Vidya Balan-starrer is inspired by the life of legendary actress Silk Smitha. Due to extreme sexual content, and abusive language, the film received an A certificate.
