The 18th edition of Indian Premier League will feature 10 teams, competing in 74 matches from March 22 to May 25. Kolkata will host the opening ceremony at the Eden Gardens.

The first match of IPL 2025 is set to take place on March 22 at the Eden Gardens, where Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face off against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
The 2nd match will reportedly feature SRH vs RR. The Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad will host Qualifier 1 and the eliminator, while the final will take place at Eden Gardens on March 25.
