The survival drama has collected Rs. 235.56 crore from the worldwide box office, as it completed the first 55 days of its release.
Manjummel Boys has made around Rs. 70.70 crore from the Kerala box office alone, so far. Thus, the movie has also emerged as the fourth highest grosser in the state.
As per the reports, the Rest of India collection (including all versions) of the multi-starrer now stands at Rs. 90.60 crore. This is a record collection for a Malayalam film.
When it comes to the overseas box office, Manjummel Boys has minted over Rs. 73.36 crore, when it completed the first 55 days of its release.
For the uninitiated, Manjummel Boys is currently Malayalam's all-time highest grossing film. The movie also opened the Rs. 200 crore club in the industry.
The massive releases of other big Malayalam projects including Aadujeevitham and Aavesham have not impacted the box office hold of Manjummel Boys.
Trade experts suggest that the Chidambaram directorial might enter the Rs. 240 crore club of Indian cinema, within its lifetime run at the theatres.
Manjummel Boys will hit the OTT screens only after it completes its lifetime run at the theatres. The movie is slated to be released on Disney+ Hotstar.
