Boy Meets World

A quite famous sitcom, Boy Meets World, emerged in 1993 with seven seasons and a total of 158 episodes to entertain its viewers with the challenges, problems, and first times related to everything in a boy’s life. Created by Michael Jacobs and April Kelly, this American show stars Ben Savage in the role of Cory Matthews, whose everyday life events became the crux of the show, starting from his adolescent life towards maturity. The show also captured Cory’s friendships and his love interest Topanga played by Danielle Fishel. Due to its popularity, the show was re-running until 2007 with some edited episodes. Disney channel even omitted three of its episodes due to its involvement in underage drinking and sexual references. However, this show also explores certain areas of cultural issues like child abuse and sexual harassment. The makers went for a sequel of Boy Meets World in the year 2012 with Girl Meets World and explore the life events of an adolescent, Riley, daughter of Corey and Topanga Matthews.
