Aditi Rao Hydari is one of the most sought-after-actresses of Bollywood. The actress has been working in Hindi as well as South movies for a while now. After a successful stint in films, Aditi ventured into the OTT space. Interestingly, Aditi's first-ever project in the web space was a period drama. As she is now gearing up for her third OTT release (Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar), it also happens to be a period drama by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Before the web series premieres on Netflix on May 1, here are a few other Aditi's period dramas to stream on OTT.

Padmaavat
Aditi Rao Hydari played the role of Mehrunisa in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Padmaavat. The actress was seen as the first wife of Alauddin Khilji, played by Ranveer Singh. Backed by SLB, Sudhansu Vats and Ajit Andhare, Padmaavat was released in cinemas in 2018. The film is currently available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
Taj: Divided by Blood
Aditi Rao Hydari made her OTT debut with Taj: Divided by Blood. The web series was created by Abhimanyu Singh and dialogues of the series were penned by Ajay Singh. In this show, Aditi Rao Hydari essayed the character of Anarkali while Naseeruddin Shah was seen as Akbar. Veteran actor Dharmendra played the role of Sheikh Salim Chisti. Taj: Divided by Blood premiered on ZEE5 on March 3, 2023.

Jubilee
Jubilee, available to stream on Amazon Prime Video, was one of the most successful OTT projects of 2023. It was yet another period drama featuring Aditi Rao Hydari. In the Vikramaditya Motwane series, the actress was seen as Sumitra Kumari, the wife of Srikant Roy (played by Prosenjit Chatterjee). The web show released on the streaming platform on April 7, 2023.

Meanwhile, Aditi has returned to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's universe with Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The actress will be seen as Bibbojaan in the series. Heeramandi is set against the Indian independence movement against the British Raj in the 1940s. It will shed light on the courtesans living in the red-light district of Heera Mandi in Lahore.
