Starring Pratik Gandhi in the lead role, the series premiered on SonyLIV on October 9, 2020. The series revolved around the stock market scam committed by several stakeholders including Harshad Mehta.
Omerta
Hansal Mehta's film Omera, starring Rajkummar Rao in the lead role, was released in cinemas on May 4, 2018. If you missed watching the film on the big screen, you can revisit the same on ZEE5 now. The film was based on the life of Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, a British terrorist of Pakistani descent. Omerta's storyline revolves around the 1994 kidnappings of Westerners in India and Omar's planning to murder a journalist Daniel Pearl.

Created and directed by Hansal Mehta and Mrunmayee Lagoo Waikul, Scoop is a web series, based on former journalist Jigna Vora's biographical memoir Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison. Karishma Tanna played the lead role in Hansal Mehta's show. Her character was named Jagruta Pathak and she was seen as a Senior Crime Reporter in the series. It was released on Netflix on June 2, 2023.
Aligarh
Written by Apurva Asrani and directed by Hansal Mehta, Aligarh is the true story of Ramchandra Siras, a Marathi Professor and Head of the Classical Modern Indian Languages Faculty at the Aligarh Muslim University. The film, which was released on February 26, 2016, featured Manoj Bajpayee as Ramchandra Siras while Rajkummar Rao was seen as Journalist Deepu Sebastian. You can stream the film on JioCinema.
Baai (Modern Love Mumbai)
Hansal Mehta directed an episode in the anthalogy Modern Love Mumbai, which is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. As per IMDb, the story of Baai is about 'Manzu, a gay man who grew up in a conservative household, is torn between the love for his partner and Baai, his ailing and ever-doting grandmother'. Pratik Gandhi played the role of Manzu in this episode while Ranveer Brar was Rajveer.
