Fighter

The first release of 2024 in this genre is Siddharth Anand's Fighter, which unites Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone for the first time. The film, which is currently streaming on Netflix, shows the aftermath of the Pulwama attacks in 2019. In the face of impending peril, the elite pilots of the Indian Air Force band together to establish Air Dragons. As the film progresses, it also shows how fraternity, friendship, and internal and external struggles surface.

Operation Valentine

The bilingual Telugu and Hindi film Operation Valentine features Varun Tej as Wing Commander Arjun Dev, a legendary fighter pilot, and Manushi Chhillar as Wing Commander Ahana Gill, a radar controller, in a real-life storyline that follows them through one of the fiercest aerial confrontations ever. Like Fighter, this film by Shakti Pratap Singh also shows the retaliatory Balakot Air Strikes of 2019.

Yodha

With Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani in the lead roles, Yodha, directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, has proven to be a sleeper hit at the box office. In the film, the system discovers Arun (Malhotra) aboard a hijacked flight under unusual circumstances, years after his crucial mission failed. The signs indicate that Arun is out for vengeance against the system that stole his life. Does Arun betray his father's (played by Ronit Roy) ideal of a patriot, or is he simply a traitor? The events unfold in a thrilling, adrenaline-fueled thriller at 15,000 feet in the air.

Crew

With Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon playing the roles of air hostesses in the soon-to-be-released Rajesh Krishnan film Crew, the casting team has done a fantastic job. Going by the trailer and the rest of the promos, it seems like tragedies befall them as they set out on a quest to fulfil their aspirations. Well, it's a heist comedy set against the back drop of planes; what fun!

Sarfira

Sudha Kongara is bringing Soorarai Pottru in Hindi, with Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Sarfira is a captivating story about a company founder and an aviator who overcomes challenges to pursue his aspirations, regardless of their seemingly absurd nature. The film is based on G. R. Gopinath, founder of the Indian low-cost airline Simplifly Deccan, as described in his memoir Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey

Sky Force

After Sarfira, Akshay Kumar will be seen in Abhishek Kapoor and Sandeep Kewlani's Sky Force, which marks the acting debut of Veer Pahariya. The film is touted as an untold account of Sky Force, India's first and most devastating airstrike.
