Barbie And Oppenheimer Both Defeated by Anatomy Of A Fall
If you thought Barbie losing to Poor Things was shocking, the jury was in the mood to catch you off guard with some other categories as well. Who could have possibly thought this season that Anatomy Of A Fall would defeat Barbie and Oppenheimer in the same category? Anatomy Of A Fall won the award for Best Screenplay against Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach’s Barbie. Process this now.

Swifties are not going to take this lightly. Taylor Swift was invited to the gala night and sent back home without a trophy. Nominated for the new category Cinematic And Box Office Achievements with many others and the trophy was given to Barbie. While the one that won against Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse was the living legend Hayao Miyazaki’s The Boy And The Heron and there is no way one can think of any other movie when he is in the nominations. But the fact that Across The Spider-Verse was a massive hit and the only superhero fireball this year, it is a snub if you look at it.
Meryl Streep Beaten By Elizabeth Debicki
Elizabeth Debicki must have won hearts as Princess Diana in The Crown, but the biggest flaunting aspect of her career for the next many years is going to be that she won over Meryl Streep.
