Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju, better known as Prabhas by his peers and fans, is one of India's most renowned South Indian actors. While Prabhas’s popularity skyrocketed beyond the Telugu industry with the release of the 2015 action-epic Baahubali, he's been a megastar within the Telugu industry for aeons. If you claim to be a Prabhas fan, you should know these details about his life.
He's featured in Forbes India thrice

Prabhas has been featured in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list three times. He ranked 77th, 22nd, 44th on the list in 2015, 2017, and 2019 respectively.
His favourite film is Bhakta Kannapa

While he enjoys a massive fan following, he's an ardent fan of his uncle Krishnam Raju and his film Bhakt Kannappa. This movie about a Lord Shiva devotee inspired him to take up a career in acting, and we are only thankful. You can watch Prabhas' favourite film on Amazon Prime Video.
He had a blink-and-miss Bollywood cameo
If you're a Prabhas fan, you probably know that he appeared in a blink-and-miss part in the Surya Ast Punjabi Mast song forgettable film Action Jackson. Prabhas was reportedly upset with Ajay Devgan because his cameo portion was edited significantly, making him look like a glorified extra in the film. If you're brave enough to stream Action Jackson, you can do it on Disney+ Hotstar.
He's immortalised in wax

Prabhas holds the distinction of being the only South Indian actor to be immortalised in wax at the prestigious Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. You can visit the Bangkok, Singapore, or London branch of the museum to take a photograph with the wax figurine.
He loves sleeping
You may not be able to tell by his vast body of work, but Prabhas' spirit-animal is Garfield. His love for sleeping, chilling, and being by himself is legendary, as confessed by his Baahubali director SS Rajamouli on their Koffee with Karan appearance in season 6. See it for yourself on Disney+ Hotstar.
He wants to work with Rajkumar Hirani
Prabhas is a self-confessed fanboy of Bollywood director Rajkumar Hirani. He's apparently watched Munnabhai MBBS and 3 Idiots approximately 20 times and harbours a dream of working with him. Prabhas and Rajkumar Hirani – now that's a formula for a sure-shot blockbuster, don't you think?
He has 3 films geared for release in 2022

Prabhas has been missing in action since his last release, Saaho in 2019. The multi-lingual film was panned by critics but was a commercial success. Production of most of his upcoming movies was stalled due to the covid-19 pandemic, but it seems Prabhas will return to the silver screen in three films in 2022 – Radhe Shyam, Salaar, and Adipurush.
