With Hrithik Roshan's Fighter, Deepika Padukone bags her fourth biggest weekend after 3 hit films with Shah Rukh Khan

Deepika Padukone is one of the most bankable actresses in the Hindi film industry right now. She has appeared in some of the highest grossing films in the business. Her recently released film, Siddharth Anand-directed movie Fighter, which costarred Hrithik Roshan, is doing well at the box office, having made over ₹100 crore globally. On its first day at the Indian box office, it brought in about ₹24.60 crore, on its second, about ₹41.20 crore, and on its third and fourth days, the film collected ₹27.60 and ₹30.20 crore respectively. The film's collection is now standing at ₹123.6 crore gross in India.

With Fighter, Deepika had her fourth biggest weekend ever in 12 months after having her biggest weekend ever with Pathaan at the same time last year. 

Happy New Year, which was highly criticized at the time but has since withstood the test of time, is the movie that still stands second on her list of biggest hits at the box office. With ₹108.86 crore earned in the first three days, the 10-year-old movie still maintains the record; Fighter has fallen short by a few crores. Additionally, it falls just short of Chennai Express, which had a weekend gross of ₹93.66 crore, making it one of her greatest ever.

It should be noted that Shah Rukh Khan, the Badshah of Bollywood, is the one who partnered with Deepika Padukone in her three best weekend box office grossers. In addition to becoming the audience's favorite in Pathaan, Happy New Year, and Chennai Express, Deepika and King Khan also became well-known as one of the greatest on-screen couples. It should be mentioned that Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan co-starred in Om Shaanti Om, Deepika's first film, which launched her acting career. 

Fighter becomes Deepika Padukone's 15th ₹100 Crore Grosser Worldwide

Given that Deepika Padukone has featured in 25 Hindi films so far, her accomplishment with Fighter—which has grossed a total of ₹100 crore worldwide—is all the more remarkable. With her debut film, Om Shanti Om, the prolific actress became the first person to earn ₹100 crore globally. The 2007 Diwali hit set the stage for an illustrious film career. Deepika has driven her films' box office in a number of them, which is a sign of a bankable actress. She is also now the best-paid actress in the Indian film industry.

Fighter plot

Another Indian Air Force cadet in Patty's squadron, Minni (Deepika Padukone), faces challenges of her own. Fighter is an aerial action film that also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi.
