Aamir Ali talks about taking up Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. The actor told OTTplay that JDJ 11's offer was something that he couldn't resist.
Aamir Ali recently took up Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. In the past, the actor was a contestant on Nach Baliye 3 and later, he even hosted another season of the dance reality show. Amid his participation in JDJ 11, OTTplay exclusively interacted with Aamir. The actor revealed the reason he accepted the offer of this show. For the uninitiated, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 airs on Sony TV.

Although Aamir never wanted to do reality shows, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa was always on his to-do list.
"Someone just made me remember that in 2013, I mentioned in an interview that I would never do reality shows, unless and until it is Jhalak. It was always on my to-do list. I feel Jhalak is a celebration of dance, fun, and positivity. Of course, eliminations will be there but the show is very positive," said Aamir.
The actor also quipped, "When I got this offer, main television se bohot dur ho chuka tha (I was away from television). I think I needed something like this to get me back and jo mujhe karna hai. Jhalak, for me, was a beautiful thing that I couldn't resist."

The 11th edition of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is being judged by Arshad Warsi, Farah Khan and Malaika Arora. Celebrity contestants of JDJ 11 are Aamir, Shiv Thakare, Anjali Anand, Urvashi Dholakia, Sangeeta Phogat, Vivek Dahiya, Shoaib Ibrahim, Adrija Sinha, Sreerama Chandra, Rajiv Thakur, Karuna Pandey and others.
On the work front for Aamir
Before Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, Aamir featured in the web series, The Trial, with Kajol. The actor essayed the role of cop Pradeep Shinde in the show, which premiered on Disney+ Hotstar. Of late, Aamir has ventured into the OTT space with web shows like Black Widows and Naxalbari.
Prior to his OTT stint, Aamir did several shows on Indian television. The actor is best known for his role in F.I.R, in which he was seen as inspector Bajrang Pandey.
