Avneet Kaur began her journey in the entertainment industry at a young age. She shifted to Mumbai from Punjab with her parents in 2010. While she started as a contestant in Dance India Dance Li'l Masters, Avneet soon ventured into acting space. Since then, she has been featured in several television shows, films, and OTT projects. Recently, during an interview with OTTplay, Avneet recalled the challenges she faced in the initial phase of her career.
Avneet Kaur on her struggles
In an exclusive chat with OTTplay, Avneet Kaur said challenges have always been there for her. "Especially when you're not from the industry and you don't have anyone in the industry. I don't have anyone (in this industry) and none of my relatives (belong here). My dad is a doctor and my mother is a teacher. My grandfather was a government teacher. They had no clue what happens (in the industry)," the actress stated.
Recalling when she and her parents decided to shift to Mumbai, Avneet revealed her relatives were scared. "At that time, my relatives were scared because we had no clue where we were going. Yes, we were going to Mumbai but we had no contacts and didn't know how to approach people. It has been a task and struggle all these years for me and my family," added Kaur.
The actress further expressed gratitude to her family members as they were with her at that time. Avneet believes without their support, she wouldn't have reached this position in her career.
Avneet Kaur's upcoming film Luv Ki Arrange Marriage
Meanwhile, Avneet is awaiting the release of her film Luv Ki Arrange, which will drop on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium. The film's OTT release date is June 14, 2024. The actress has shared screen space with Sunny Singh, Supriya Pathak, Annu Kapoor, and Rajpal Yadav in the film. She plays the character of Ishika, who believes in love marriage. On the other hand, Supriya will be seen as her mother in the movie.
