Director SV Krishna Reddy: Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu has a message and will entertain crowds too

A fine mix of young talents and veteran actors are joining hands for director SV Krishna Reddy’s comeback film Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu. Sohel, Mirnalini Ravi, Rajendra Prasad and Meena play the pivotal roles in the film produced by Koneru Kalpana and presented by popular producer Atchi Reddy under Ammu Creations and Kalpana Chitra. Ahead of the film’s release tomorrow, SV Krishna Reddy shed light on the efforts that went behind the project.

On Sohel and his character:

Sohel has all the makings of a top star. I’ve said this to him at the shoot and on several public forums. Just like how there are many nights to dream of a rosy future, there are as many days at your disposal to accomplish them. We’ve tried to convey this message through his character and I’m sure audiences will resonate with it.

Entertainment quotient of Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu:

While trying to send across a message, the screenplay offers good scope for entertainment and will leave the audiences in splits. The film will be as funny as my other hits like Mayalodu, Vinodham and Pellam Oorelithe and it was necessary to rope in all the leading comedians to do justice to the script. Our intention is to tell a meaningful story with depth while not losing out on the entertainment quotient.

Not stuck in my past, confident of being relevant to today’s crowds:

It’s true that I’m returning after a sabbatical but as a filmmaker, not much about bonds, sentiments or humour has changed over the years and I’m confident about being relevant to today’s audiences with my trademark tropes as well. I always see every day as a new opportunity and start afresh and am never stuck in my past.

I hope that helps me be successful with Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu as well. A lot of years went into the writing the script and I thoroughly enjoyed the process. As a team, we couldn’t wait to translate our ideas onto the big screen and the experiences were memorable indeed.

Atchi Reddy’s role in my life and the need for good producers:

Atchi Reddy is the main reason behind me taking up a wide variety of roles in filmmaking, from writing to direction to composing and acting. During narrations, he convinced me that I had the knack to come up with good dialogues and this was the case with other departments too.

It’s important that a producer is passionate about the process as much as the director to ensure a quality product. While the producers of my previous films gave me exactly what I want, Koneru Kalpana (garu) exceeded my expectations to rope in top-notch cast and crew for Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu. It’s a great quality for a producer to have and the industry will be in safe hands with more people like them.
