The second Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss OTT witnessed a shocking double eviction. Not just one contestant, but a connection altogether got eliminated from the Karan Johar hosted reality show. Yes, we are talking about Karan Nath and Ridhima Pandit. As soon the filmmaker announced the eviction, it came as a huge surprise not only to the host and viewers but contestants too. Speaking about the same, Karan exclusively told OTTPlay despite being evicted, he believes 'being a decent guy can also take you ahead in the show'.

When asked if the eviction came as a huge blow to him, Nath stated, "It didn't come as a blow, I was surprised rather. In fact, we both were surprised, Ridhima and me, we didn't expect that we will be evicted. We thought that someone else will be evicted. We didn't have any game plan, strategy anything. So I guess it's okay, life has to go on."

The actor went on to reveal that he thought Millind Gaba and Neha Bhasin will be evicted this week from the show.

Agreeing to people on social media calling it an 'unfair eviction', Karan said, "Ridhima and I didn't think we will be getting evicted, to be very honest. Now that it has happened, we really can't do anything."

Being in a connection brought in lots of cons as it affected the individual game of the contestants. Talking about the same, Karan shared, "Yes, because in this, if one person is weak, the other person has to bear the consequences. So, it's all based on connections, it's not the individual, regular Bigg Boss style. You have to make sure that your connection is really tight and good, have something going in the show, and all that. So in that regard, I think we did decently well. I think we were growing day by day, getting more and more better, because, Ridhima and I didn't have any of these minds where you keep manipulating and keep playing games with everyone. We were very pure and were very honest and sincere to each other. Even during tasks, I don't think we were bad, we played decently well. Now, we are out and can't do anything about it."

Soon after Bigg Boss OTT ends, Salman Khan will be taking over the show with Bigg Boss 15 on the Colors channel. So is Karan up to be a part of the upcoming reality show? To which he said, "If I get a chance, I will definitely re-enter the show. I still like to believe that with honesty and sincerity, being a decent guy can also take you ahead in the show. It doesn't need to be only manipulating or just fighting for no reason and just poking someone to go ahead in the show. So, that shouldn't be the only reason I think even a nice guy can go ahead in Bigg Boss."

There have been several mixed and extreme reactions to Karan Johar as a host of Bigg Boss OTT. Nath revealed that he felt a little ignored by the host during the Weekend Ka Vaar and the niceness of the contestants should also be discussed.

"He is a good host otherwise, he has done some shows also. But honestly, I felt a little ignored during Weekend Ka Vaar. Because I didn't have anything to give them in the sense, I didn't have any negative bone inside me. I didn't have any muddas or issues with anyone, I didn't fight unnecessarily with anyone or create havoc in the house. People who do that do end up being talked about during Weekend Ka Vaar. But, niceness should also be looked at because it looks like people who do good things also in the task and help others especially the opposite team members are not spoken about and not talked about. Even good deeds should be talked about, it should be a combination of both. But I guess they concentrate and focus on other things. Even towards the end of the show, he told me something which I didn't agree with. So anyway, overall he is a very entertaining host and he's very good," said Karan.

The Yeh Dil Aashiqanaa actor called Divya Agarwal is the strongest contestant as she has experience of being a part of reality shows. Karan made her his sister inside the house thus he wants her to go all the way in the game.

The actor added, "Shamita Shetty is also being very smart, so I think Raqesh Bapat and she can also do very well in this show. She definitely guides him because he is another simple guy, very silent in fact. So, Shamita is like the brain in that connection."

Now, that Millind and Akshara Singh have become a connection, Karan called them the weakest contestants.

When asked with whom he would like to continue his bond outside the Bigg Boss OTT house, the actor revealed, "Raqesh for sure is a lovely guy and we had planned to meet outside once this is all over. Apart from Raqesh then, of course, Ridhima my partner, she's a good girl and a good friend I made in the house which definitely will be carried forward. Also, Divya took great care of me inside the house. We created a pure connection and bonded like brother and sister, so definitely Divya as well. Also, Neha, because she had clearly asked me not to judge her. Whenever she said something, she even apologised after that. She also said that she would like to be my friend outside the house."

Sharing his key learnings in a short stint inside the Bigg Boss OTT house, Karan concluded, "I learnt how to clean the house first. I also learnt that if you're a nice person, you're honest and sincere, you stand up for the right things in life doesn't kind of only take you forward in Bigg Boss. You have to play mind games and all those things. But I'm happy because I wouldn't like to compromise on being a nice person. Maybe that's why I paid the price and I'm out of the show."
