Within a short period of time, young Telugu actor, Kiran Abbavaram has made a name for himself. He has done some interesting films and impressed us with his sincere performance in films like SR Kalyanamandapam. He is now ready with his new film Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha which is up for release on the 18th of this month. In his exclusive interview with OTTplay, he talks about his film, career, pressure, trolls, and future projects.

Aggressive promotions are key to the film's success these days

Kiran has been promoting his film on an aggressive note and when asked why he is going all out, he says that more than making a film, it has become very hard to take it deep into the audience who are very busy in life. "Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha is a film with a different concept and only when I come out and talk about it, people will come prepared to the theaters," says Kiran.

Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha has a concept never tried before

Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha is produced by Bunny Vas and has a very unique concept. It deals with the phone number of our neighbors. When asked to elaborate, Kiran says "Calling people who fall before and after our phone numbers and creating a crazy story out of it is the basic storyline. In the film, one number gets connected to a funny guy and the other goes to a man which creates a huge issue for the hero which is the basic plot of the film".

Dream come true moment to work with Geetha Arts

GA2 Pictures is owned by the prestigious Geetha Arts headed by Allu Aravind. So, when I got a call to act in their banner, I felt so thrilled. "It was a dream come true when the producer Bunny Vas signed me for this film. As both I and my director Murali were ready with the script, we took it to GA2 and they approved the project right away. From day one, I did not face any hassle as the making and the promotions have been quite smooth." says Kiran.

Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha is a perfect commercial treat with an underlying message

Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha is a perfect entertainer which everyone will like. The film has comedy, drama, and an underlying message which has been told in a very beautiful manner. The social message conveyed in the second half will surely connect with the audience and the last half an hour is the soul of the film says Kiran.

My humble background keeps me grounded

Kiran Abbavaram is a B. Tech graduate and worked as a network consultant for 2-and-a-half years in Chennai and Bangalore. He started doing short films while working and later left his job to pursue a full-time career in films. One of his short films, Sreekaram was remade into a feature film with the same name in 2021. Coming from a humble background has helped me a lot and it keeps me grounded says Kiran. He wants to entertain the audience and says he is sure, he will make it big in films.

I have no backing in the industry and have come up on my own in Tollywood

Ever since Kiran made his debut, he has made a lot of noise whenever his film is all set to release. The way he promotes and manages to be in the social media glare is quite rare for a new actor. There has been news that he has proper backing in the industry and there is someone who is helping Kiran with his career. But he slams this news and says "Even I am surprised to keep on listening to this that I want to clarify that I have no backing in the industry and have come up on my own in Tollywood"

My next two films also have unique subjects

Kiran is already set for two more projects and is busy shooting for them. One of the films is Rules Ramanujam where he plays a quirky character. The other one is Meter which also has a strong subject. "I am signing films in a very careful manner. The audience has loved me for my performances and the way I speak honestly. I don't want to take things for granted and the day is not far when I will be considered one of the most bankable actors in Telugu cinema". ends Kiran with a smile.
