Shikha Talsania debuted in Bollywood with Ranbir Kapoor-Konkona Sensharma's Wake Up Sid in 2009, while she rose to fame by playing a pivotal part in Veere Di Wedding along with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhasker.

She is gearing up to be seen in Potluck Season 2 on SonyLIV. The first season of the comedy-drama show was released in 2021. It also has Cyrus Sahukar, Ira Dubey, Saloni Khanna and Harman Singha among others and is set to release on February 24. In a recent chat with OTTplay, Shikha spoke about her experience of working in Potluck season 2 and also revealed her upcoming projects. Excerpts:

A new chapter has begun in everyone's life in the show, what's new for your character?

Prerna is close to finishing her book that began in season one. Aalim and she have been dating for a while now and thus their relationship is also changing and growing. And as usual, the Shastri family which is full of quirky characters are keeping each other busy with their own shenanigans.

In the trailer, we can see you saying to someone else that they are having a midlife crisis, is your character and her relationship also dealing with the same this time?

Relationships have challenges every day and it keeps growing and changing. So yes, watch Potluck season 2 to see how Prerna’s relationships with the rest get turned upside down.

What made you say yes and come back to the show for the second time?

It’s family!

How's your chemistry with Siddhant Karnick in reel life as well as real life?

That’s for us to know and you to find out, nosy!

Lately, we have seen you in mostly light-hearted characters, are you planning to play serious or more intense roles in the near future?

Watch this space (OTT) for more. There are a few projects that will release this year that will hopefully show you otherwise.

Please tell us about your future projects.

'Satyaprem ki Katha' directed by Sameer Vidwans, 'Sanaa' directed by Sudhanshu Saria, 'Potluck'- Season 2 on Sony Liv. Another series on Netflix, which I cannot disclose much about, working on a new play, directing another, touring with the existing plays and hopefully doing some writing.
