Gauahar Khan and her husband Zaid Darbar were blessed with their first child on May 10, 2023. They are proud parents to a baby boy, Zehaan. After five months of childbirth, the actress is back to work. She will be seen as the co-host of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 with Rithvik Dhanjani. In an exclusive chat with OTTplay, Gauahar spoke about returning to work shortly after Zehaan's birth.

Gauahar was asked about her decision to work a few months after delivering a baby boy. To this, the actress said, "I was ready for it. I prepared myself mentally and physically after three months of delivery. I knew I had to completely concentrate on Zehaan for three months. Once the three months were over, I started my fitness (routine) and diet. And Mashallah, I have achieved 60% of my goal and I am happy about that."

Further, Gauahar spoke about taking up the role of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 host. "I am just grateful that Sony TV and BBC have given me such a big opportunity right after five months of delivering a baby. All credit to them for being so welcoming and being so open-minded. Of course, my hard work has paid off. It is not looking like I've had a baby just now. So, I am very happy about that," added Gauahar.

A month after her little one was born, Gauahar had announced his name on social media. While sharing the Instagram post, the actress captioned it, "Our ZEHAAN. Revealing our little one's name, ma sha Allah on his 1-month date since birth. Thank you all for ur love, seeking your continued blessings for him, and requesting for privacy for our lil Jaan. He sends his love (sic)."
