Inspector Avinash is the latest biographical crime drama show starring Randeep Hooda and Urvashi Rautela. It also features Irra Mor as Sub-inspector Rani Paswan, who marks her Bollywood debut with the Jio Cinema series.

In a candid chat with OTTplay, the aspiring actor shared her experience of working the show alongside Hooda and playing the role of a cop and more. Excerpts:

Speaking about how she bagged the show, Irra unveiled that after meeting and talking to director Neeraj Pathak, she auditioned for two key roles and got chosen to portray police officer Rani Paswan's character.

She further unveiled how she bonded with Hooda on the sets of Inspector Avinash. "I think the first day of the shoot when we all, who were paying STF officers teamed up and after the scene was shot we all introduced ourselves to each other. I introduced myself to Randeep Sir and told him that I am from Agra. After realising my surname, sir asked if I am a jaat because he is too and that's how we started talking and getting along more."

Based on the life story of UP's famous encounter specialist, Inspector Avinash Mishra, the series chronicles how he and his team accomplished their task to curb multiple criminals from the face of UP during the late 1990s.

Along with Mor, Hooda and Rautela, the crime drama series also has Soundarya Sharma, Rajneesh Duggal, Amit Sial, Freddy Daruwala, Govind Namdev, Abhimanyu Singh, Shalin Bhanot, Rahul Mittra and Adhyayan Suman in significant roles.

All episodes of Inspector Avinash are out to stream online only on Jio Cinema.
