Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11's Urvashi Dholakia calls herself 'ardent' Shah Rukh Khan fan; wishes to groove with him | Exclusive

Urvashi Dholakia has been an integral part of the Indian TV industry for over three decades now. The actress is best known for her role as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Apart from doing fictional television shows, Urvashi has done a few reality shows as well. At present, she is a contestant in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. 

While she was promoting JDJ 11, OTTplay exclusively interacted with the actress about her new project. In a conversation with us, Urvashi named one Bollywood celebrity she would love to dance with.

Urvashi Dholakia wishes to dance with Shah Rukh Khan

Urvashi told OTTplay, "I have forever been an ardent Shah Rukh (Khan) fan. I don't know if I would be able to dance with him. But ya, that's why Shah Rukh Khan!"

The actress was further asked about what inspired her to take up Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. To this, she added, "Dance is something that doesn't really need an inspiration. Every Indian has it inbuilt. Usme vo set hi hain. If you ask me, why did I do it? This was the only show that was never offered to me or they (the makers) never approached me. So, when I got it, I grabbed it."

Urvashi Dholakia's last project on TV

Before participating in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, Urvashi Dholakia was seen in Pushpa Impossible. The actress played the role of Devi Singh Shekhawat. Prior to that, she was an integral part of Naagin 6, which featured Tejasswi Prakash in the lead role.

In the past, Urvashi did a dance reality show called, Nach Baliye 9. She was also a part of Bigg Boss 6. The actress ended up becoming the winner of that reality show.

About Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11

The first episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 aired on November 11, 2023. It returned to Sony TV after a period of twelve years. The judges of JDJ 11 are Malaika Arora, Arshad Warsi, and Farah Khan. On the other hand, Gauahar Khan is co-hosting this reality show with Rithvik Dhanjani.

JDJ 11 will air every weekend on the aforementioned GEC at 9:30 pm.
