Actor Karan Kundrra rose to fame with the TV show Mohabattein. The actor was a part of Bigg Boss years later, after which he became a household name. He enjoys a sizeable fan base and young women can't get enough of him. Recently, the actor was also seen playing an important part in Bhumi Pednekar's film, Thank You For Coming. Recently, in an interview with OTTplay, the actor opened up about relationships in modern times, dealing with toxicity, and more.

Karan Kundrra on relationships

When asked what, according to him, are the key challenges that people face while finding true love, Karan Kundrra said, "I think 95% people don't even know what they are looking for. Their idea of love is either based on a favourite film or novel that they read when they were young or what their parents have told them. You need to understand who you really are. Actors play characters and no one knows who they are in real life. So it’s about knowing yourself and who you are in a relationship. I think the moment people start letting themselves feel things is when you will find out (about love)."

Further, while speaking about how people want their love stories to be like the ones they see on screens, Karan joked, "Sabse badi badi romantic filmien jinhone direct ki hai vo sab single hai." (The greatest romantic films ever made were by single people.)

Considering that he is often in the limelight, we asked Karan about how he handles toxicity. He said, "When you’re in a toxic relationship, kabhi kabhi aisa bhi hota hai ki aapko lagta hai ki agar isko humne khatam kiya to ye-ye ho jaega, jo ki eventually hona hi hai. Either you’re scared to accept it because there’s a lot of family pressure or a reputation to maintain, but agar aapko lagta hai ye hona hai to woh hona hi hota hai. You know when you’re in a toxic relationship, but later on you start blaming it." (When you're in a toxic relationship, sometimes it happens that you feel like if we just end this, then such and such things will happen, which eventually does happen. Either you’re scared to accept it because there’s a lot of family pressure or a reputation to maintain, but if you have a feeling that it's going to end, it will end. You know when you're in a toxic relationship, but later on you start blaming it.)

Meanwhile, the actor's most recent appearance was on Amazon MiniTV's Love Adhura, in which he is seen sharing the screen space with Erica Fernandes.
