Anupriya Goenka and Sharib Hashmi's series, Khoj - Parchaiyon Ke Uss Paar, has dropped on streaming. Directed by Prabal Baruah, the psychological thriller premiered on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium on December 27, 2024. The series follows the tale of a man who suffers from paranoia and is on a hunt to find his wife. In an exclusive interview with OTTplay, Anupriya revealed that her series is based on a Bollywood film, which starred Rishi Kapoor.

Anupriya Goenka told OTTplay that she decided to do Khoj - Parchaiyon Ke Uss Paar as she found it intriguing. The actress added that her series has an 'old-school' charm to it.
"This is based on a movie that Zee had only done some 20-30 years ago, in which Rishi Kapoor had played the main part with Kimi Katkar. And we were trying to adapt it in today's atmosphere. That I found very interesting," said Anupriya. For the uninitiated, Rishi Kapoor and Kimi Katkar starred in a 1989 film called Khoj, which was directed by Keshu Ramsay.
Talking about her ZEE5 series, Anupriya called it an interesting drama where a husband refuses to accept his wife and figures out whether she's an imposter or real. "So as the character, I had a lot to play with. Sometimes I had to be docile, sometimes I had to be aggressive, and sometimes I had to have a pleading attitude," she added.
The actress went on to mention, "Sometimes I had to be a little suspicious and or even conniving. So there were so many shades to play in that, that had really excited me."

In Khoj - Parchaiyon Ke Uss Paar, Anupriya plays the role of Meera whereas Sharib Hashmi essays the character of Ved. On the other hand, Aamir Dalvi is seen as Amol Sathe.
