Nidhi Kumar and her boyfriend Mohak are one of the four couples who have participated on Temptation Island India. Hosted by Karan Kundrra and Mouni Roy, the dating reality show streams every day at 8 pm on JioCinema. During an exclusive interview with OTTplay, Nidhi revealed she and Mohak almost 'broke up' two months ago.
Nidhi Kumar on her relationship with Mohak
The Temptation Island India contestant Nidhi told us that she has had a beautiful relationship with Mohak so far. The dancer added that she and Mohak barely argue over things because they get along well. However, their love affair did go through a testing time recently.
"But two months ago, we almost broke up. It is because we started thinking about the future. He is the best man ever. But he is not romantic in terms of showing it. Of course, he loves me but the romance angle was missing and it really got to me. It is completely okay if you are not romantic but I have to see and feel it once. I was not getting the romance that I deserved," said Nidhi.
The young girl further stated, "It just got to me. I was crying and I couldn't sleep. But when we got back. He promised that he would try. I know he is a calm, reserved man and not out there, which is completely okay. But girls need to see it. He tried after that and he completely changed his game for me."
Mohak on falling in love with Nidhi Kumar
Mohak knew Nidhi was the one for him on their first date itself. The fitness enthusiast met her through a dating app. What happened next? Mohak revealed, "(I realised it on) the first date we met. We just vibe so well. We laugh a lot. It kinda made me feel like... I sent her flowers. She didn't give me her address or anything. I had to search for her address. I sent her flowers and then we continued talking. And we are still here. It was really special the first time we met."
