A Day and a Half

A Day and a Half is a Swedish action thriller film directed by David Sandberg and starring Fares Fares and Alma Pöysti. The story is about a man who kidnaps his estranged wife from her workplace, a medical center. Louise is initially terrified of Artan, but as they embark on a road trip to Poland, she begins to understand the desperation that led him to take such drastic action. Artan reveals that he has come up with a plan to escape to Albania with Louise and Cassandra, but Louise is hesitant to leave her life in Sweden behind.As they embark on a road trip, they must confront their own past and the challenges of their relationship. Along the way, they must also deal with the police, who are hot on their trail. In one of the film's most tense scenes, they encounter the wife's racist parents, who are determined to stop them from leaving the country with their daughter. In the end, the man is killed by the police, but the wife and daughter are able to escape to Albania.
