Adaminte Makan Abu, directed by Salim Ahamed, is a 2011 Malayalam movie starring Salim Kumar as Abu and Zarina Wahab as Aishumma. Salim Ahamed’s movie fell into a controversy regarding the plot when filmmaker Abbas Kalathod accused the story of being plagiarized and taken from his short film "Maruppacha." However, Salim denies such allegations and remarked Abbas making such comments before the release of the movie when he has not yet seen the movie.
