Adipurush

Written and directed by Om Raut, who is best known for his film Tanhaji (2020), Adipurush is a 2023 Hindi epic mythological film based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. This action fantasy movie produced by T-Series and Retrophiles, has a budget of ₹500 crore, making it one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. The film celebrates the victory of good over evil by depicting the story of Ayodhya's king Raghava and his journey to Lanka to save his wife Janaki from Lankesh, the king of Lanka, who has kidnapped her. The movie’s cast includes Prabhas, who has also starred in the Baahubali movies playing Raghava, Kirti Sanon, who also starred in Mimi (2021), Raabta (2017), and Luka Chuppi (2019) playing Janaki, Saif Ali Khan, who starred in Vikram Veda (2022), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), and Agent Vinod(2012) playing Lankesh, Sunny Singh playing Lakshmana, and many more.
