Arabikkatha

Arabikkatha is a 2007 Indian Malayalam film directed by Lal Jose. This is a drama film which follows the story of Mukundan, a devoted leftist. The film shows the struggles of him, with the changing dynamics of ideologies around the world. Karunan is a corrupt politician and an opportunist, fearing that Mukundan will expose him, he sends Mukundan to Dubai. Mukundan’s experience in Dubai, turns out a bit sour. He meets a chinese girl who’s an anti-communist and learns that the world is changing quick. Mukundan towards the end, realizes that loyalty to any ideology in today’s world is nothing but anachronism.
