Amina, a young girl of fourteen, is betrothed to a seventy-year-old farmer. As the story unfolds, she finds herself on a truck, being trafficked to Burkina Faso. Things take a turn after she’s rescued from the truck but is made to survive amidst the busy city of Accra, which leaves her with two options: surviving in the bustling city of Accra, or returning to her village and an impending marriage. Directed by Kwabena Gyansah, the story of the 2018 Ghanian drama film is by Gyansah with a screenplay by Gwandelen Quartey. Starring Ama K. Abebrese and Asana Alhassan in the lead, the rest of the cast include Adjetey Anang, Akofa Edjeani Asiedu, Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye and Peter Ritchie, among others.
