Babylon

Babylon is a 2022 historic dark comedy movie written and directed by Damien Chazelle, also known for directing La La Land (2016), Whiplash (2014) and First Man (2018). The movie records the rise and fall of actors in the brutal Hollywood industry as it transitions from the era of silent movies to sound films. The film portrays the unsavoury side of Hollywood with issues like drug abuse, actors getting replaced as if they are irrelevant, death, murder and gambling. The film has a stellar cast lineup with actors including Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Jean Smart, Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo and Li Jun Li among others.
