Baishe Srabon

Srijit Mukherji directed the 2011 Indian Bengali noir psychological thriller Baishey Srabon (22 Shey Srabon). It is his second feature picture. The cast includes Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Raima Sen, Abir Chatterjee, and Gautam Ghose, who returns after a 29-year hiatus. The plot revolves around two journalists and two police officers (one of whom is suspended) on the trail of a spiteful psychopath who leaves behind couplets from Bengali poets.
