Bayama Irukku

This Tamil horror-comedy emerged in the year 2017 as an unofficial remake of the movie Pee Mak. Bayama Irukku mostly collected negative responses and reviews from the critics as well as from the audiences. The story depicts a man giving shelter on the head of four friends. Soon the four realize and sense a ghost around. They learn the ghost to be the man’s dead wife and strives to help her in the other half of the film. The movie was criticized for its lack of humor and horror. It does not stand out with its niche and was critically reviewed as a film that "neither frightens you nor evokes any laughter".
