Bharjari

Bharjari, a 2017 movie, is directed by Chethan Kumar, streaming on Hotstar Disney+ and Youtube. It is a Kannada action romantic-comedy film, starring Dhruva Sarja as Surya Rudra Pratap and Rachita Ram as Gowri. The movie plot revolves around an orphan Surya, ambitioning to become a soldier, falls in love with Gowri. In the commotion, two more ladies enter his life, initiating confusion. The film involves twists and turns around the truth laced with action, romance, and satire. The producer, Kankapura Srinivas, and the actors had a disagreement over remuneration issues, resulting in boycotting the 100-days celebration of Bharjari. The film faced success at the box office, but the lead actors and the entries cast were not present at the 100-days celebrations. The protagonist, Dhruva, although is initially into boxing and has mastered boxing, Kung Fu, gangsta, Chinese, and freestyle for the film.
