Black

Black was written and directed by Ranjith and is a Malayalam crime thriller movie which was released in 2004, and revolves around the underworld operations in Kochi. In Koche there is a crime syndicate organisation which is run by Shanmugham and Devin Carlos Padaveedan. Shanmugham is the Head Constable whereas Devin Carlos is an Advocate. Shanmugham is suspected of betrayal. Carlos turns against Shanmugham. He orders his own people to kill off Shanmugham. Shaken by this betrayal, he finishes off Carlos and his men, before they kill him. Now he starts off a new life with his deaf daughter and Anandam.
