Byomkesh Gotro is a film that is based on Byomkesh Bakshi by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay, an Indian Bengali film directed by Arindam Sil. The film is a detective thriller produced by Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni under Shree Venkatesh Films. The release date was October 12, 2020. The cast of the film includes Abir Chatterjee as Byomkesh Bakshi, Sohini Sarkar as Satyabati, Anjan Dutt as Ushapati Das, Rahul Banerjee as Ajit, Anjan Dutt as Ushapati Das, and Arjun Chakraborty as Satyakam Das. Byomkesh lives in Kolkata who was visited by Satyakam, a young businessman from Mussoorie. He declared himself as the son of a businessman from Mussoorie. Although he confessed, he was a womanizer.
