Chillar Party

Chillar Party, is a 2011 comedy film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and Vikas Bahl. The movie revolves around a group of children from Chandan Nagar colony who take on the bad world of politics because one of their friend’s life was endangered. Fakta, a kid their age was employed in their colony to clean cars. At first the kids didn’t like Fakta or his dog, Bhidu but soon grew to bond with him. One day Bhidu attacked welfare minister Shashikant Bhide’s secretary for hurting Fakta. In the news he announces that all the strays in residential buildings in Mumbai will be caught and terminated. The Chillar Party tries to get the NOC where they have to get 50% votes of the total residents in the society i.e. 31 votes. The kids are only able to get 10 votes in 15 days. The kids decide to pursue the remaining votes and towards the end, we see a change of heart and the last signature becomes of the secretary himself.
