City of Lies

"City of Lies" (2018) is a crime drama film directed by Brad Furman and written by Christian Contreras. The film stars Johnny Depp, Forest Whitaker, and Toby Huss in prominent roles. "City of Lies" is based on the real-life investigation of the murders of rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. The film follows LAPD detective Russell Poole as he works to uncover the truth behind the murders and the corrupt police department that tried to cover it up.
