Detective

Directed by Jeethu Joseph, a 2007 film, “Detective” stars Suresh Gopi in dual roles as Shyam Prasad and Mohan Kumar and Sindhu Menon as Rashmi. This Malayalam suspense-thriller movie is streaming on Hotstar. This commercial hit comes up with a story about the suicide of Reshmi, the wife of a young political leader, Mohan Kumar. Later, an investigator, Shyam Prasad, discovers that the woman was murdered in cold blood. Even the screenplay by Jeethu maintained the thrill throughout the movie, especially towards the second half. This movie also got dubbed in Hindi and released as “Mera Mission Mera Kartavya.”
