Durga Sohay

Durga Sohay is a 2017 Indian Bengali family drama cum thriller film. The film is presented by Avishek Ghosh and Manisha, produced by An Avma Media Llp and directed by Arindam Sil. The cast of the film includes Tanusree Chakraborty as Manasi, Sohini Sarkar as Durga/Chaina, Kaushik Sen as Dibyendu, Sampurna Lahiri as Panni, Indrasish Roy as Shuvo, and Anirban Bhattacharya as Madhab/ Durga's husband. The story begins when Durga enters the house of the Banedi Jewellers family. The time shown is between Mahalaya and Vijayadashami. Banedi is a huge family with a huge house in north Kolkata where the eldest person is taken care of by a nurse. Durga turns out to be a thief who was caught by Manasi, Manasi is a kind lady who gives Durga another chance. Soon she wins the heart of all but the story is never this simple, Durga joins the house as her husband who is a dacoit planning to bargain on Dashmi. Their plan failed when Durga informed the police beforehand.
