Fatteshikast

Directed by Digpal Lanjekar, Fatteshikast is a 2019 Marathi language historical drama starring Mrinal Kulkarni, Chinmay Mandlekar, Ajay Purkar, Mrinmayee Deshpande & Sameer Dharmadhikari. The film is based on Maratha history, particularly the attack on Lal Mahal by Shivaji Maharaj. As the makers call it, the attack was the first surgical strike of India. The attack on Lal Mahal was a very brave act because the Mughals had the rule over it, that time. The film is based on this attack and the encounter between Shivaji Maharaj and Shaista Khan. The film covers the journey right from when Shivaji was captured from Panhalgad & moves to the attack which was a reply by Shivaji for his previous capture.
